37. Release what no longer serves you: Using Yoga to beat Sunk Cost Fallacy

Just because you have invested a lot of time, energy, or resources into something doesn't mean it is still serving you. In economics, the phenomenon of the "sunk cost fallacy" refers to our tendency to keep holding onto things purely because we've invested heavily into them, regardless if we have evidence that we are still receiving return on that investment. In this episode, I explain what that means in more practical terms, and how it can apply to releasing the past year with love: get ready to let go of goals, roles, habits, and beliefs that may no longer be serving you.

As always, I share some helpful yoga philosophy/concepts, journal prompts to help you gain clarity, and explain the concept from a scientific/psychological/human behavior standpoint. Enjoy!
